"Pyramids" Code-Generated Posters

Created a set of two code-generated posters using Processing inspired by

visual artist Stanley Donwood. Shapes

are placed both at random and systematically using keyboard and

mouse functions. Texture and traditional media were then added to each poster

to create visual contrast.

"Pyramids" was inspired by Stanley Donwood, known for his years of collaboration with Radiohead. I input a variety of shapes and forms frequently seen in Donwood's artworks into the

code, such as "X's," pyramids, constellations (line + dot), triangles,

and diagonal lines, to uniquely generate each poster.
